Sprinkle mixes are guaranteed for 18 months after purchase, but can last for several years when stored in a cool and dry environment. Exposure to sunlight may cause color fading, especially in pinks and purples.

Our Metallic Sprinkles Mixes contain silver and/or gold dragee pieces, which are sugar-coated in non-toxic silver and gold food colors. These colors have been approved for consumption in the EU and Canada, but have not yet been evaluated by the USA FDA, so they are labeled "For Decorative Use Only". Cake decorators worldwide have been using and eating dragees for decades, so the decision on their edibility is up to the individual.

Some of our sprinkle mixes contain hard sugar pearls and macaroni dragees (dragee rods) that could be considered a choking hazard for children under 1. These pieces can be easily removed from the sprinkle blends if needed.
